This workshop aims to teach people how to navigate banking, manage their finances, and build a strong financial foundation for their future in Canada.

Date: June 9th, 2026, 2:00 pm – 4:00 pm, COMPASS Refugee Centre , 230-675 Queen St. S. Kitchener

What You Will Gain: 

• Choose the right bank account for your needs  
• Understand everyday transactions (debits, credits and payments)  
• Use online banking and ATMs safely and confidently 
• Build and maintain a strong credit history  
• Create practical budgets for daily life  
• Recognize and avoid common financial scams  
• Use simple tools to plan and manage your finances 

Kindred Credit Union will provide a Spanish Interpreter.
