A critical part of the framework is the “I” – Information and Resources.
One of the challenges for people new to Canada has been navigating all the information available to them. We are a word and print heavy culture and that alone can be a barrier.
We have begun to work with Canadian Language Benchmarks which help us to know the best way to get the right information in the right way to those we help. We want to create information and resources for refugees in Canada that are accurate, attractive, and easy to understand. We are even working on a APP for that!!
