COMPASS Refugee Centre is excited to launch a social enterprise project called COMPASS Immigration Solutions. This initiative aims to set a new standard for professional immigration consulting services in the Waterloo Region ensuring trust, integrity, and equity in an evolving sector.

While donor support remains foundational to our success, this new revenue stream will help to build long-term sustainability for our core charitable programs. By offering professional immigration consulting services to businesses, service agencies, and individuals, we will generate income to support our vital charitable programming, which is serving our refugee claimants. 

We have hired a lead consultant, Carolyn Watson, PhD, licensed with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. She has extensive experience supporting newcomers from over 35 countries since 2006. Carolyn brings academic rigour, ethical leadership, and a deep commitment to every client.

By leveraging COMPASS’s established reputation for trust, integrity and following through to the end, COMPASS Immigration Solutions will provide the community with accessible, transparent, and professional immigration services. People who use these services will get the added bonus of helping people who lack financial resources but desperately need expert support to go through the refugee claim process. They will help to ensure that people who need Canada’s protection get the same quality support and service we all expect.
