“I was not sure what the process of refugee claim was about. I was lost and confused. I found (MCRS) COMPASS through a friend of mine. He recommended it. This was in 2018. 

I emailed them and I was able to make an appointment right away with Tony. We sat down and he explained all about the process. We had about 2 -3 more sessions in order to fill out all the applications and papers. 

It was such a great experience and Tony was easy to work with. I had my hearing in 2019 and got accepted. After this I got more help from him to process my Permanent Residence and 21 months later, I got my PR!

I could not have survived otherwise. This generous person said I didn’t have to pay until I was able to. It was amazing, I could not believe it! 

I don’t think I could tell a story with a happy ending without their help. It was a tough time. I was impressed with the way they handled my privacy. I felt they protected my information very well. I felt I could trust them. It is not easy to share what is going on in your life through those difficult days”
