Samuel sat in a chair in one of our meeting rooms, slouched and dejected. His children played nearby. His wife sat watching him with tears in her eyes. On this day, he was meeting with our staff to talk about his next steps. His head hurt, the lights bothered his eyes, and the sounds of his children banging on toys were like a jack-hammer.
